I wanted to learn Pine Script for similar reasons to what you mention. It has been really confusing journey for a new comer to trading, there is a lot of conflicting information in this industry and a lot of claims (may of which are unsubstantiated). I'm hopeful that I will be successful in applying what I have learnt as I have just completed Matthew's Pine Script Mastery course and I highly recommend it! I'll now be able to code strategies and backtest them (with some practice) to check they are profitable before applying any money to the market. Wishing you all the best in your trading endeavors.
