Hi Matthew and others, strategy invite...

Hi Matthew and others.

Congratulations Matthew for coming this far. Personally, the first goal is to become profitable with strategy.

High patience needs for trying to get the code for my strategy in order. Thank you for your courses on your youtube page, I was also on Stevens page. I have started trying to trade live with the strategy. Still do not feel comfortable. Troublesome when you do not want to delete another strategy. Yes, tradingview backtesting is hard to trust ...

I have tried a lot to get the strategy to start coming together. When you think you are starting to finish, it is still not clear .. good can get better.

Knows some problems with Heikin Ashi / normal bars and strategy / backtesting.

Anyone want a private invitation to my strategy? Then I probably have to translate it from Swedish first.

There are several strategies in one but with a main strategy and with options.

The main strategy creates support and resistance during different time intervals and a fast double hma as a price signal

dsm = security (syminfo.tickerid, 'D', open, lookahead = barmerge.lookahead_on)
teho = security (syminfo.tickerid, '60', open [1], lookahead = barmerge.lookahead_on)

It's a little difficult to decide which settings I should have. for example, time intervals, the strategy is primarily intended for indices, equities and commodities.
I have with stochastic, adx, higher volume, HTF with MA and MACD, box range

Sincerely
Inboxmover, Sweden

Re: Hi Matthew and others, strategy invite...

Hi Inboxmover! Welcome to the forum :) thank you for the kind words and best of luck with your trading my friend!

And good luck with your projects, you're right - it can be a rabbit hole with no light at the end of the tunnel sometimes, but with perseverance and journaling and improving on each iteration of an idea you can eventually come up with something that works "good enough" - which is always my goal.

Perfect is unattainable, but "good enough" can pay quite well haha. Take care my friend :zen:
