Hello there, forex and crypto and Python fan here. Have been out of touch with trading for quite awhile, but recently got the itch again! Decided I am in love with TradingView, so I'm building out my entire workflow based on what integrates with TradingView.

Also I'm a linux nerd, so I wanted to build a trading platform that works natively for my system. TradingView solves this problem but is also just damn good - in comparing TradingView to many other platforms, TV is just awesome! So based on this, I'm planning to subscribe and commit to TV at the end of my trial. I found the PineScript and was very excited... this seems like an evolution from MetaTrader - it is very similar.

I hope TradingView will oneday offer a direct integration to allow trading with your integrated broker. I opened an account with forex.com and I'm placing all my trades through the TradingView interface. I plan to learn how to write pinescripts but the concepts seem very simple. I am currently writing Python for my dayjob, so this is very similar. I also work with time series in my Python work, so that is a natural transition to charting concepts as well.

Excited to hear there exists things like "Autoview" and I will read-up on that next!
