I'm working on a script and I want to plot columns on an indicator that tells how many ticks are between the open and close of a bar. Not the entire bar though. I can't find this anywhere.

Do you mean something like plot (high-low)?

This would give you the difference between high and low, but seems to obvious an answer to your question.
